There’s no opt-out, or opt-in for that matter; we who are here are here and as such we will leave the flesh, one day, for certain. As we live out each day, one after the next, our purpose is manifest by our actions. Some lives seemed wasted but maybe they are useful as a testimony of what not to neglect for those that come after or alongside them. It is said, in the Word, that God uses all things for the good of those who love him, even the evil. How is it then that we doubt. It is exhausting to live. It is painful to live whether in denial or surrender, it is not a pleasant journey no matter how many worldly indulgences or how many lives touched or changed, it is a very rough ride. What separates the self-serving from the God-fearing? A life lived to please self or a life lived to please God? He promises peace and joy even in the circumstances that test our beings to the very edge of being. This comes naturally, supernaturally, as a consequence or reward of absolute, ABSOLUTE Trust in God. If He has everything RIGHT and He has me, and He has stated in His infallible Word that He uses ALL things For the Good of those who love Him. Sweet Release renders complete peace. This does not come early or easily in the Christian walk but as He also promises that He has a purpose and a plan for every one of us, it is not wasted strain - the strengthening provides acquired muscles for such a time as lies ahead, either here or beyond this world, or both. Old things become new, joy can be found in the suffering as a gift of strengthening, a gifting of preparation – of growth. There is joy in that, joy through real tears produced in real pain. Whatever it is, I just want to hang on until the ride stops so I can gather my senses and set in a direction ready to meet the next day, even if my eyes are somewhat puffy and I am older than I was before, even though….press on.
No one leaves without dying
